We safeguard the recovery of precious metals from recycled goods which contain them, freeing up urgently needed raw materials such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium for production processes. In doing so, we not only fulfill material requirements for the next generation of computer processors, mobile telephones and catalytic converters for cars, but we also assure raw material deposits for following generations.

About Us
METALSCRAP is an emerging company in the new and evolving electronics recycling industry. With more than 8 years of combined experience in the fields of electronic recycling, networking, installations, and consulting, the professionals at METALSCRAP can safely and efficiently manage your electronic disposal, and networking needs both within a corporate and community setting.
The electronic recycling industry is within its infancy that only recently has the government begun to regulate the way used electronics can be disposed. METALSCRAP collects and sorts many types of computer and related items and recycles them by de-manufacturing the components and selling the individual raw materials, or by reselling the useful parts.
In the new «green» world we live in, it is in everyone’s best interest to dispose of these materials in an environmentally friendly manner. Nearly every element in a computer is recyclable. Our process renders 99.5% of each component reusable in some way.
Privacy is also a growing concern as electronic correspondence and record keeping increase. You can rest assured that your privacy will be protected by METALSCRAP to the degree you see fit. Methods to protect your privacy include erasing your hard drive to exceed the Department of Security standards or by shredding your hard drive in our new hard drive shredding machine. METALSCRAP will provide a certificate of disposal or destruction which insures you that your data has been destroyed in accordance with your wishes.

How It Works
Electronics go through several steps before they are completely recycled. MetalScrap picks up electronic waste from anywhere in the world.
Electronic Waste Recycling Facility
The growing demand for high-value secondary materials makes high-quality recycling increasingly attractive. Waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) such as computers, TV-sets, fridges and cell phones is one the fastest growing waste streams in the EU, expected to grow to more than 12 million tons by 2020.
Electronic equipment has a complex design. Input material are prepared for sorting via shredders, air separators, magnets, manual controls, screens and non-ferrous metal separators. All of these are vital to ensure that the various components of E-Scrap are initially separated for efficient and effective sensor-based sorting in the following steps.
Pre-processed material, such as Nonferrous Metals and Plastics, are further sorted by TOMRA’s FINDER, COMBISENSE, AUTOSORT, and X-TRACT, which can be combined with one another and flexibly integrated into any sorting system. In contrast to manual sorting, this means greater efficiency, minimal material loss and lower operational costs.
The result: According the market needs a maximum added value high monofractions with 99% puritiy can be achieved with minimum number of sorting steps.
